Both my wife and I use this product for squatting in higher ranges. That barbell begins to hurt. This item remedied that. It comes with two Velcro straps to keep the pad in place while using. It is also fairly high quality. I expect this item should last retail years with moderate, home gym use. I purchased through amazon and it arrived quickly. Overall great value and I would purchase again.
